Other purposes of the Nottingham Association are to promote the mutual and general welfare of the community by securing the united action of all property owners and residents in matters pertaining to civic improvements and to secure and maintain for this area the advantages of adequate transportation, educational, library, sanitation, and medical services; paved streets; proper street lighting, adequate fire and police protection; and foster a strictly residential community so as not to permit encroachments which would tend to lessen the principle of the original restrictions contained in the deeds to our property, subject to zoning regulations prescribed by the City authorities.

A further purpose is to cooperate with other community associations having the same or similar goals.

Nottingham Association is a non-partisan, non-sectarian, and a not-for-profit organization.

The boundary lines of Nottingham Association located in the Borough of Brooklyn, City and State of New York, is as follows:

Northern boundary: Avenue K between Bedford Avenue, Ocean Avenue and Nostrand Avenue.

Southern boundary: North side of Kings Highway.

Eastern boundary: West side of Nostrand Avenue.

Western boundary: East side of Ocean Avenue between Avenue L, Avenue K and Kings Highway.
